Statement of Beliefs
We believe in one God, Creator of the universe and Maker of all things (I John 1:1-3).
We believe that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnate, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is the true God and true man (John 1:13).
We believe the Bible, in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:16).
We believe in the ressurection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost (Revelation 20:11-15).
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:14).
We believe in the santification by the blood of Jesus, in personal holiness of heart and life, and in seperation from the world (I Peter 3:15-17).
We believe in divine healing, through faith (I Peter 2:24).
We believe in water baptism, the batism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, and in the nine gifts of the Spirit listed in I Corinthians 12 as available now to believers.
We believe in the Christian's hope - the imminent, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ ( I Thessalonians 4:15-17).
We believe in intensive world evangelization and missionary work in accordance with the Great Commission, with signs following (Mark 16:17-18).
Our Basic Purpose and Objectives
- BRINGING THE SAVING KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST TO THE WORLD and enhancing the spreading of the Gospel.
- RESTORING TO THE BODY OF CHRIST that which the enemy has stolen.
- HELPING INDIVIDUALS to function in the calling, talents and gifts God has given them by on-the-job training, and opening doors for them to minister to the nations.
- SETTING WOMEN FREE FROM THE BONDAGE AND TRADITIONS that have held them captive by ministering to the entire family. Although World-Wide FLAME is basically a minstry to women, men form an important part of the ministry.
- BRINGING UNITY TO THE BODY OF CHRIST through joining Christian believers from all denominations and nations together.
- ESTABLISHING A WORLD-WIDE PRAYER MINISTRY to unite the world in specific prayers for each nation.
- AIDING AND STRENGTHENING THE LOCAL CHURCH through soul winning and encoraging new converts to become involved in a local church. FLAME chapter meeting attendees, members and leaders are encouraged to worship in a local church.
- OFFERING INDIVIDUALS THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTAIN POSITIONS OF LEADERSHIP in their local chapters with an opportunity for growth and promotion to regional and national positions.
- DEVELOPING PROJECTS TO REACH OUT INTO THE COMMUNITIES to meet the needs of the area while proclaiming the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We attempt to accomplish these objectives through:
- MONTHLY CHAPTER MEETINGS which include fellowship, worship, a reputable speaker testifying to the saving grace of Jesus in his or her life, and an opportunity for salvation and personal prayer.
- MINISTERING TO THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and Christian training material, including audio and video cassettes, Bible Studies, and other material.

- OPENING OUR MEETINGS AND FELLOWSHIP TO ALL -- men, women and children; all Christian denominations; believers and nonbelievers, that all may come toa saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and come to understand His Word and will for their lives.
- HOLDING AN INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION IN A DIFFERENT NATION EACH YEAR to unite and acquaint people with individauls of other nations.
- LINKING EACH CHAPTER WITH A SISTER CHAPTER IN ANOTHER NATION. Each chapter will be praying for and ministering to people of a different country and culture.
- DISTRIBUTING A PRAYER CALENDAR THROUGHOUT THE NATIONS listing specific requests to be prayed over on specific days throughout the world.
- URGING NEW CONVERTS and individuals who come to our meetings to seek God's guidance in becoming an active part of a local church.
- GOING INTO REMOTE VILLAGES often overlooked by others, with projects to help meet the needs of these communities (for example, by teaching the people to read and write, making articles to sell, improve their lifestyles, etc.) while sharing with them the love of Jesus and His saving grace.
